Your membership dues entitle you to receive our quarterly newsletters and attend our  AAPS sponsored meetings without additional charge. You will also be invited to attend our fun holiday party in December. We will keep you informed of any political actions that affect preservation in Alameda.

We have two easy methods for processing your AAPS membership:

  • The old-fashioned way: you may print out our membership form here and send it, with your check made out to AAPS, to the address printed on the form.
  • Or, now for 2010, the new-fangled way: you may select the “Add to Cart” button below and pay securely via PayPal. A PayPal account is not required to process– you may also use your credit card.

We are happy to accept separate additional donations of any amount. We pursue preservation on a number of fronts, including advocacy (Preservation Action Committee and Alameda Point Committee), outreach (projects include historic home purchaser letter, preservation assistance library installation, general membership meetings sponsorship), information and documentation (Marcuse & Remmel homes database, scanning of existing photos and clippings of Alameda buildings). If you have a preference, please indicate an activity on your donation form.
