COME JOIN US FOR THE ANNUAL
WOODY WALK
Sunday, August 28, 2005
From 4 PM until 6 PM.

Franklin Park (Corner of Morton and San Antonio)

Woody Minor, has been writing about Alameda history and architecture for over 25 years, and has given many lectures and walking tours.

On the walk, we will see new examples of most of the major house styles, from Italianate, Queen Anne, and Colonial Revival to Arts & Crafts, Period Revival, and Modern. The walk will take place in the heart of the Gold Coast--Alameda's most impressive historic residential streetscapes. We will venture down to the old shoreline to look at bay shore mansions, and we will mosey down tree-lined avenues checking out snug cottages and grand mansions. Bring your walking shoes and questions, and Woody will be ready with the answers.

Free for members, $5.00 for guests.
