Update: AAPS sent the below letter as a clarification of previous comments to the Historical Advisory Board in advance of their meeting on Thursday January 12. AAPS Preservation Action Committee believes the cut corner on the building should be retained.The item has been continued to a February meeting of the HAB.
Habanas Restaurant at 1518 Park Street is requesting changes to the facade of their building that involve historic elements in a historic district. Here is the letter AAPS sent to the Historical Advisory Board in October:
The plans are up for a Certificate of Approval from the Historical Advisory Board on Thursday, January 5. The documents submitted for the approval can be found on the City’s Web site here .
